Community Time!
Group photo of TOR Sisters

June 1-5 we were blessed to be able to go to Alverno, a Capuchin retreat house in southern Pennsylvania for some time together as a community. All 28 of us were there. Our theme for the week was based on the song, "Big House." Many of our fun activities were aimed at "preparing" us for the construction of our new Chapel and residence which will begin soon. One activity was building models of our chapel (out of graham crackers, marshmallows, and other candy). We also had a skit night and some Irish dancing. It was a truly blessed time to be together. Check out the slideshow to see some pictures!

Fr. Timothy Gallagher, OMV

We were very blessed to have Fr. Timothy Gallagher, OMV, come to our Monastery to give us a workshop on St. Ignatius' Rules of Discernment for Spiritual Consolation. Fr. Timothy has a way of teaching and writing that makes it simple and clear. We have been using his books and tapes on St. Ignatius for community formation the past couple years. It was great to finally have a face to go with the voice! The pictures below are from our time with him.
